Steve Schleicher has been a teacher his entire adult life. From teaching swimming lessons, to coaching football and wrestling, to his career in public education, he has always done his best to help others learn new skills. Steve began stage acting at the age of 13 and has continued to act on stage and on camera. In 2015 he watched the documentary, I Know That Voice!, and realized that what he really wanted to be when he grew up was a voice actor. In 2016, he graduated from Voice Over Nation’s Essentials of Voice Over class.
With the help of Dave Redemann, David Conner and others, he has put together practical steps for beginning a career in voice over. In three years, he has gotten representation from seven different agents and has worked on projects for AMAG Technology, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the City of Watertown, Tannhauser Gate Entertainment, Faux Fiction Audio, Gungrounds Games, Raven Software, and will appear as the voice of five different characters in the soon-to-be-released Rebel Galaxy Outlaw from Double Damage Games.
